When I was in high school I decided to play piano for a frail care facility that I volunteered at during the holidays. There was one man in a wheel chair, he only had movement from his arms up, who made a mission to come hear me play. I remember being completely humbled (I was NOT the best pianist) at having this man listen to me. After he died, I found out he was actually a concert pianist. This experience has stayed with me and so I have decided to start presenting concerts at the CPOA’s in Cape Town. This is the first, and I am really looking forward to getting to know the people at Fairmead Court.
