In addition to her career as performer and composer, Andrea continues to work with brass and wind bands as conductor and pedagogue. She is based in Jena, Germany and conducts the Brass Band VielKLANG, Jugend Brass Band Blechklang and Junior Brass Band. 

She travels throughout Europe working as guest conductor and adjudicator, most recently with the Landesblasorchester Thüringia and Prima la Music Upper Austria, but also with local blasmusik and posaunenchor groups including all ages, amateur and professional musicians.

Internationally, she has conducted the Zimbabwean National Musicamp Wind Band in 2013 and 2017 as well as the East London Wind Orchestra. She was hired as tutor for the South African National Youth Orchestra and worked with the orchestra as well as the wind orchestra. She is also a founding member of the South African National Youth Brass Ensemble and worked with Mark Hampson (UK) in leading this ensemble.

She initiated, as well as tutored at, the formation of the Southern African Tuba and Euphonium Association which hosted three Southern African Tuba and Euphonium Courses with top international including Adam Frey and Albert Khattar.

Andrea is passionate about helping student, amateur and professional musicians succeed in their goals as musicians.
